The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), in cooperation with Electrolux Home Products, Inc., of Augusta, Ga., announced a voluntary recall of the Electrolux ICON and Kenmore Pro 30" Gas Ranges, due to a risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. According to the CPSC news release, an incorrect part allows more fuel to pass the range's oven than can be burned effeciently, causing incomplete combustion and the release of carbon monoxide.
