Recall bubble knobs 435x425 More than 250,000 Glass Bubble Knobs being recalled by Cost Plus World Market and World MarketNearly 251,400 Glass Bubble Knobs are now under recall by Cost Plus World Market and World Market stores due to their issues with breaking and exposing sharp glass, posing a risk of laceration to consumers.

The recalled glass bubble knobs may be used on both cabinet doors and drawers. Offered in the colors blue, pink, green, amethyst, smoke and clear, the glass bubble knobs were sold in two sizes – one at about 1.25 inches in diameter and the other at about .75 inches in diameter. Attached to the glass knobs are bronze-colored hardware.

Cost Plus Management Services has received five reports detailing incidents of hand and/or finger lacerations from the glass bubble knobs, which were manufactured in India.

From October 2010 to April 2014, the recalled glass bubble knobs were sold exclusively at Cost Plus World Market and World Market stores nationwide for between $2 and $4.

Consumers that have identified the recalled knobs in their home should immediately stop using them and return them to any Cost Plus World Market or World Market store for a full refund.
