Recall Golden Flake Hot Thin and Crispy chips 127x210 Golden Flake recall announced due to undeclared milk allergens in certain potato chipsGolden Flake Snack Foods, Inc., headquartered in Birmingham, Ala., has announced a voluntary and limited recall of its 5 oz. HOT Thin & Crispy Potato Chips.

The recalled Golden Flake chips may contain milk and other dairy ingredients that were mistakenly omitted from the product’s list of ingredients. Consumers with a milk allergy could experience serious of life-threatening allergic reactions upon consuming the product.

No illnesses or deaths have been linked to this recall. Any consumer in possession of one or more packages of the recalled Golden Flake potato chips should either return it to the store it was purchased from, or simply throw the chips away.
