The toy trolley recall involves four different models of push toy trolleys – the French Cocotte Cooker trolley, the DIY-Magnetic trolley, the Redmaster-Magnetic trolley and the Barbeque trolley. Each of the recalled toy trolleys measures about 17 inches tall and has a one-foot-by-one-foot base. The item number should be located along the base of the toy.

Before the toy trolley recall was announced, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and manufacturer Juratoys learned of two incidents of the trolleys rolling backward, both of which resulted in children visiting the emergency room. One of the injuries required a tooth extraction, and the other was a laceration to the child’s nose.

From September 2012 through March 2017, the recalled toy trolleys were sold for between $70 and $100 by various toy stores across the nation, as well as online at Zulily.com. The toys were manufactured in China.

Consumers that have purchased one or more of the recalled toy trolleys should keep them out of children’s reach until they have contacted Juratoys for a free repair kit. The repair kit comprises of instructions, tools and footers to help prevent the toy from tipping backward during use.
