Ultra Shop Supplement is recalling Super Panther 7K capsules, a dietary supplement distributed by SX Power Co., and promoted to enhance sexual performance, because the product contains hidden prescription drugs. A laboratory analysis conducted by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) revealed Super Panther 7K capsules contained undeclared sildenafil and tadafil, known by the brand names Viagra and Cialis, respectively.
Viagra and Cialis are prescription medications used to treat erectile dysfunction. These drugs may cause serious health complications for people with cardiovascular disease.
Viagra and Cialis can interact with medications that contain nitrates and cause dangerously low blood pressure. People with diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol or heart disease often take nitrates. To date, Ultra Shop Supplement has not received any reports of adverse events related to this recall.
Affected Super Panther 7K supplements are packaged in 6-count bottles with the UPC 6 01577 51320 9, Exp 8/28/2020 lot RO246852 1-count blister cards UPC 6 015577 51324 7, and 30-count hanging card display UPC 015577 51324 7, and lot RO846356, Exp 08/28/2020. The products were sold nationwide in the U.S. through the company’s retail website. Ultra Shop Supplements has discontinued sales of these products and notified its customers of the recall through email.
Anyone who has purchased these products from Ultra Shop directly should stop using them immediately and contact the company at 888-246-9664 to request a return of affected products.
