Despite no known occurrences or injuries reported, Aqua Lung is currently cooperating with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) to conduct a voluntary recall of Aqua Lung’s SureLock II weight pocket handles. Since 2009, SureLock II has been used on most Aqua Lung buoyancy compensators (BCs) as the mechanical weight release system; however, Aqua Lung is now concerned about the rubber handle pulling off of the plastic SureLock II weight pocket assembly.
