A wrongful death lawsuit has been filed against E.I. DuPont De Nemours, a science and engineering company that makes construction materials, polymers, paints, plastics, printing materials, and more, alleging long-term exposure to “a potent bladder carcinogen known as aminobiphenyl” made a former employee sick. The estate of William Clawson filed the lawsuit in Jefferson County District Court in Texas on April 5, saying Clawson was a long-term employee of DuPont who was exposed to a chemical that led to his death.
