Megajex ED supplement recalled, contains hidden prescription drugs

Megajex Natural Male Sex Enhancer capsules contain undeclared prescription drug ingredients that may be hazardous to the health of certain individuals, a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) analysis has found. As a result, Megajex manufacturer, MS Bionic, Inc., is recalling all lots of the male erectile dysfunction dietary supplement. The FDA says that Megajex contains the pharmaceutical ingredients tadalafil and sildenafil, the active ingredients in Cialis and Viagra, respectively. FDA accepts new drug application for treatment of aggressive melanoma mutation

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is reviewing a potential new drug to treat melanoma. The agency expects to make a decision on the New Drug Application (NDA) by June 30, 2017. Array BioPharma’s drug binimetinib is for the treatment of NRAS-mutant melanoma. Studies show that NRAS mutations arise in 15 to 25 percent of all melanomas. Erectile dysfunction drugmakers sued for alleged melanoma risk

With 80 plus lawsuits in the rapidly growing multidistrict litigation (MDL) underway against Pfizer, now Eli Lilly and Co. is being sued for the same reason. Plaintiffs are claiming that since Eli Lilly’s erectile dysfunction drug Cialis (tadalafil) is, like Pfizer’s Viagra, a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor, increases melanoma risk and the company should have warned them.
