New York City authorities are investigating a partial building collapse in Harlem that trapped and injured a man Thursday. The building collapse occurred at an old three-story church at 316 W. 135th Street just before noon on Nov. 29. Philadelphia’s city Treasurer and her husband have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against several parties implicated in the June 5 building collapse that killed their daughter and five other people in an adjoining Salvation Army thrift store. The family of a woman killed when a Philadelphia building undergoing demolition collapsed on top of a Salvation Army thrift store has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the owners of the collapsed buildings and those who were involved in the demolition.
