Houston, Texas-based Halliburton Co. has agreed to pay $18.3 million in wrongfully withheld overtime pay to 1,016 employees nationwide as part of the U.S. Department of Labor’s ongoing, multi-year compliance probe of the oil and gas industry. The settlement is one of the largest recoveries of overtime wages in several years.
