LIBERTY, Texas – A tire blowout is to blame for a truck driver losing control of his 18-wheeler and crashing early Tuesday morning on Interstate 45 in Huntsville, Texas. A new federal safety standard proposed by U.S. safety regulators would reduce the risk of passengers being ejected from commercial buses during rollover crashes and improve survivability in bus crashes.
