A class action lawsuit against DePuy Orthopedics has been filed in Australia, led by Tammy Stanford, a 40-year-old teacher and mother of two who says the DePuy implants she received in 2005 have so debilitated her, she can no longer work in the classroom. Now, instead of experiencing the enhanced quality of life that the implants offered, she relies on crutches to walk and pain medication to make it through the day.
