A Lincoln, Nebraska man who endured 148 surgeries and the eventual amputation of his right leg is suing the city and a staffing agency for more than $2.5 million claiming their negligence caused his injuries. Charlie Johnson claims he was working at the Lincoln Solid Waste Landfill for JJ Westhoff Construction Co., through LaborMAX Staffing in July 2016, when he was thrown from an ATV driven by an employee of the construction company.
