Cost Plus World Market has announced a nearly twist swivel stool recall involving close to 125,000 stools following the discovery that an important weld joint may break during use and cause the seat’s occupant to fall. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the recalled twist swivel stools featured a light brown-finish wood seat and base, along with four black metal legs. Each stool measured about 24.5 inches high when left un-extended, but could reach a height of 29.5 inches when extended.
