Toys R Us, the popular American toy retailer, has announced a recall of nearly 30,000 “Just Like Home Toy Toaster Sets.” The recalled toy toaster sets include pieces of plastic toast, which can break off into small pieces and create sharp edges that pose hazards to small children. In addition to the 30,000 sets recalled in the U.S., roughly 6,000 are also under recall in Canada. Reports of lacerations cause Toys R Us to recall 12,650 children’s travel trunks

Toys R Us, toy and juvenile-products retailer headquartered in New Jersey, and the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) are recalling approximately 12,650 Journey Girl Travel Trunks. This recall is due to the trunk’s “sharp” blue metal handle, posing a laceration hazard to the user. The recalled purple trunks with the hazardous blue handle stand 21 inches tall, are decorated with a blue pattern and are intended to carry 18-inch-tall toy dolls. CPSC Gains Assistance From Four Major Retailers To Recall Nap Nanny® Recliners After More Infant Deaths

After five infant deaths, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and four major retailers, including Amazon.com, Buy Buy Baby, Diapers.com and Toys R Us/Babies R Us, are announcing a voluntary recall to consumers who own Nap Nanny® recliners.  This recall will involve both the Nap Nanny Generations One and Two and the Chill™ model infant recliners.
